This is a bit of Fang/Vanille fanart that I did, referencing the cover of the first volume of "Burst Angel: Angel's Adolescense" (Probably spelled that wrong... It's a great manga counter part to the anime)Any how...
I am in love with this couple~ Heh.
I may or may not color later... it's a big picture and Vanille's clothes are ridiculious.

I thought it was kinda lame they were the only ones that weren't brought back at the end, but hey... hopefully it'll make a good sequal.

So Jo and Meg became Fang and Vanille....
But I still wonder why they made Meg nice in the manga, but a brat in the anime. Same for Jo - hides kind intentions under harsh actions, and then she becomes practically a Gunman operator. >.<
Burst Angel was ruined in anime form. Most of all - THEY RUINED THE YURI. No - THEY REMOVED THE YURI!!!

It's humorous because Angel's Adolesence was made from the Anime, not the other way around.
But I totally agree with you. I like the manga much better. I think their characteristics in it is much better, as well as the whole fact it wasn't a mech manga.
I didn't get why she suddenly became a gundam pilot, but apparently that's what happened...
And yes, Jo and Meg became Fang and Vanille... I see them as similar characters. :3

Bu you know....I wonder why they never included the yuri between Meg and Jo in the anime? Only in the manga....and it never got serious, either. Except for one scene.

Maybe it's because since it was displayed on TV for children to watch, the animators and storywriter thought it best to tone down some of that, since it's not that widely accepted in Japan. or it was less so when it originally came out.
Where as, the manga can be bought whenever, and by whoever, and usually books have more free reign over their content because they're allowed to not sell it to certain age groups. One can just stumble upon a tv show if flipping through the channels...?

She's a bit accent-y, it switches between austrailian to almost brittish, to near english, back to austrailian occasionally.
But it's something you get used to and learn to love. It's actually rater cute in my opinion.
