Description Here's one of the photos that i took for my article in the fall issue of Fashion Doll Quarterly "FDQ"
Ive always wanted to do a band photo, I was on a tight deadline so i only ended up having 3 days to build the stage set which ended up being about five and a half feet tall "my dolls are big".
The amazingly gifted Dreux did all their costumes in about 4 days.

My original Doll sculptures are in Chavant clay, from that i pull silicone molds and cast in a custom resin mix, i then drill my parts hollow and string with elastic (my dolls are completely poseable) i sand down the seams then paint on the makeups. The eyes are 17mm handmade masterpiece silicone eyes, the wigs are made from mod acrylic. costumes by Dreux Priore.

That's unbelievable... It's... I can't even comprehend how amazing it is that you can actually make dolls like that. I don't think I've ever been more envious in my life actually I've only just started with sculpting with my first clay maquette. Man, if I could make one of these... I dare say I drool at the thought.
The detail is awe-inspiring and the dolls are just beautiful, I just don't see how you do it! I've always looked at bjd dolls (even though they were so ridiculously expensive I'd never be able to get one) and yours are just stunning; if not more so; than the popular bjd dolls.
About how long does it take you to make a single doll?

Thank you! im really flattered that you like my work, for somone who has just started sculpting your maquette looks great... my dolls take anywhere from Two months to 4 or 5 months "depending on complexity of costumes/tattoos/ect." take care, thanks again and keep up the sculpting!!
