30 minute color pencil sketch.

a massive abomination from the elemental plain of magma, the Dragonsnail grows it shell of a blend of minerals, mixed of iron, adamantite, and other metals, creating a nigh impervious shelter. fragments of these materials also cover it's mantle, covering it's softer, but still tough, foot, head and tentacles.

The "bones" in the wings, are actually a hollow lattice, loaded with essnetially powdered metal it absorbs, can cause to go rigid, and re absorb the metals to allow it appendages to go flacid, under the shell.

It can tuck it's wings inside the shell and go hull down for added protection, but also can go on the offenive, with a maw capabale of swallowing a horse whole, a massive venomous tooth hidden in the base of it's foot, or it's "breath weapon", a stream of mixed digestive fluid, molten metal and flame.

For weaknesses, it is slow and limbering, whether on "foot" or in the air, with poor agility. It is also blind, using a mix of sonar and touch to sense the world around it.
