X-23 is a one of a kind custom Kell Hound rebuild of a WVR-8D Wolverine from the late Jihad.

It's pilot, Sgt Labhraín Mac Cionaodha is an Arc Royal Native and had just completed Academy and joined the Hounds when the WoB launched their Jihad. Piloting a brand new 8D, she fought in many battles and proved to have a good intuition for detecting ambushes, almost like a 6th Sense. During the liberation of Tharkad, Labhraín realized that Akira Brahe was headed into a trap and leaped into action, only for Manei Domini and Nephilim and Se'irim Battle Armors to swarm her Mech.

During the ensuing battle her cockpit was compromised, and she was badly burned by a flamer. Medevaced, she would survive, but lose her lower left leg and forearm. During her time recuperating and adapting to her myomer prosthetics, Akira Brahe authorized the rebuild of her mech, with no expense to be spared. With that Labhraín set about the project with one clear goal in mind... a machine that would exterminate Manei Domini cyborgs and Battle Armor anywhere it was found, and a capable bodyguard for the Comand Lance.

Replacing the RAC2 in the right arm would be a Capellan sourced Plasma Rifle, with a 2 ton magazine build sidecar into it. The Streak 6 would be retained but with the ammunition magazine moved to the left torso and protected by a new experimental CASE II system. The already cramped cockpit would be replaced with a new Small Cockpit unit, which freed up the space in the head to replace the ER Medium Laser with a twin 20mm Machine Gun ball mount. This would be fed by a one ton magazine in the left torso. And lastly, a Retractable Blade, salvaged from a Grigori she had killed in the ambush, would be modified and mounted under the left forearm vambrace.

The Endo steel chassis would remain untouched, while the gutted XL engine would be replaced by a new LFE, allowing the same speed, but with greater survivability. Likewise its Jump Jets would be retained, but moved entirely into the torsos to make room for a new experimental Actuator Enhancement System in the legs. completely negating any inherent control penalties from the Small Cockpit, further enhanced by the SLDF Neurohelmet she also slavaged from the Grigori.

Lastly, a Bloodhound Active Probe would be added to the right torso, to enhance her ability to "sniff out" an ambush. Once WoB units are discovered, Labhraín would enter a near beresrk frenzy, wading in slicing with her blade, burning everything living with plasma and engaging her Machine guns in rapid fire mode, usually leaving a trail of burned and dismembered Blakists in her wake.

Remarkably, she would survive the Jihad, and after further reconstructive urgery to minimize the amount of scarring across her body, would join the forces of the fledging Republic of the Sphere where she would lead a unit of Blake Hunters as a Ghost Knight, rooting out remaining cells and fugitive Blakists for the next 20 yrs.

*Colonel-Eviscerator wanted curvier/hippier proportions for my "roundfacer" yesterday. Whist I refused to sadlle a lovely roundfacer with Kardashian Hips, I for some reason decided to curse this poor blockhead with them. Blame the Colonel, not me.
