Picture of the infamous Bodom Lake, I took around 30 pas midnight.The atmopshere was so peaceful.
Oittaa, Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland.

I'm surprised that every Children of Bodom fan on dA hasn't faved this picture yet. We have this obsession with that lake and the title calls from a mile away.

Yes, I know the band, I used to listen to them quite a bit, hence the name of the piece.

uhmm...it's a little bit strange, that there are now familly vacations places
it's not so that i would believe in shower stories or so.. but it's a fact, that there was a murderer .. who killed 3 people..
so i wouldn't like to live their in my vacations... but i think they only say"it's over, it was 1960... that's a long time ago"

40 years you know, it's a lot. The facts that the place is really great for entertainment, and close to Helsinki, make it normal that people come back there.
I mean, it's close to impossible that it happens again, but the place should not be wasted because of that.
And then, most people believe that the survivor of the affair was the killer...

That lake isn't actually so infamous here in Finland because of the murders that happened there in 1960s. nice photo.

I don't know if you have a thrid eye, a sixth sense or something like that, because I was feeling very lonely and a bit sad about it (camping alone having passed already 1 week travelling all alone) when I took this picture.
