Lighting was quite opportunistic, though, as it's just the natural light of the train station.

The city seems to sprawl out so much bigger than life and there he is, perched on the top of the stairs.
It definitely gives the impression of him contemplating the city or perhaps... this is going to sound silly but another image I get is like this:
The city's buildings are huge, black monsters with big white eyes and it's Romain's job to negotiate with them; I can just see him trying to reason with them and they loom in the shadows, grumbling to one another.

Euh, je fais quoi si je tombe amoureuse d'une de tes photos? Elle est ptain d'impec cette photo, c'est assez Γ©norme.

i love it! i guess i can just relate really well. i think it's great you have him as the only person in this city picture; i think it's so easy to feel isolated in a city and this really gives off that feel...
