Description
The second of two versions I did of this pic. This was inspired by a pic I did of just Mandy in the block-shading style, which I thought looked like it was something from an old-style detective story. Thus, Inspector Irwin was born! In here we have the detective himself, his young and goofy partner, Billy, their classy and mysterious client, Mandy, her rather suspicious butler/guardian, Grim, and a possible villain, Nergal. Pretty crazy, huh?*Edit: The background characters have been shaded and highlighted. Fun, no?

This is all just amazing, and it's great to see some Irwin love and your shading is amazing!
But... Mandy's eyes just keep bugging me. The eye lashes make it seem like she's wearing glasses and I personally feel it would have been better with the hair covering the eyelashes.
But I love the rest of the picture so PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!

This picture is awesome! Mandy looks so cute, Billy and Irwin are adorable, Nergal looks really cool lurking aroud in the background and Grim's awesome.Though, it looks like Grim's touching Mandy's ass. x.X

No, just has his arm half-around her. It was kinda tricky to do >< He is her suspicious butler/guardian, y'know. There COULD be something going on... *looks around* I'll leave that up to you, though.

Aye, indeed this is very classy, and certainly shows that hip ol' gangster motif you'd find in a detective show's poster advertisement. Well that's my view anyway, hehe. Grim by far looks tha best, mon! He should do his own detective show with that look! And that smoke just adds a whole world of extra class. XD
However there is one thing that bothers me about it, and though the colouring and overall design is great, I think some areas need to be smoothed out to give it that better poster look. There's just some lines near the lighter colours that break away unfortunately from being a line and have that "dotty rough" approach. But that's only a small worry. ^^

Well it does send a kind of odd message to the kids, telling them to "light up" but for those of us who aren't so stupid to fall under what's cool and what's not, I think a detective story just wouldn't be a detective story without the classy ol' cigar. Same like old westerns 'n' all. Cigars do have a place in movies after all, though I can't say much the same for real life.

You know what? I kinda do, too. In that other one I could tell that Mandy and Grim were in the BG. The first time I saw this, I thought that Billya nd Irwin were sitting on Mandy and Grim's laps.
