I wanted to get a little drawing in, but I didn't want to draw something complex. So, the idea of drawing a stick figure came to mind. At first, it was going to be a silly drawing, but I started to take it a little more seriously the more I drew the character. The fun thing about stickman drawings is that they're so simple to draw in action poses so I have an easier time drawing complex poses. I honestly enjoy how this drawing came out; it looks too precious! <3

Her name is Doodella, based on the word "doodle" because that's what this drawing is. Doodella is a spunky stick girl who likes to go on adventures with her friends. As you can tell by the colors, Doodella is very girly and is not afraid to show it. However, she's far from a damsel in distress. She can hold her own, but is not afraid to call for help when the situation is needed. She appreciates her friends and family and is takes out the time to bring them gifts as her way of saying thank you.

I can see myself just drawing stickman whenever I don't really want to draw a complex drawing and even try experimenting with a simple design and how to make it quirky and funny. Doodella won't be the only stick person I draw; I'll tell you that much, lol XD
