Description

Perhaps not too paleotologically accurate, but after seeing the amazing Jurassic Park inspired vehicles made by Claveworks, i created a series of skins using them as inspiration. This is my Albertasaurus version. See below for some lore:

"The smaller tyrannosaurid is most impressive during the summer mating season. During this time their feather plumage grows in more significantly, and vibrant in its colours, with a bright green and turmeric yellow belly. The creatures head plumage also grows in, and individuals have been seen to have different feather shapes and styles to their plumage. This strange variation of 'haircut' is used by the females as a part of selection for a mate, as well as how clean and vibrant the rest of the males feathers are. During mating season males will often be found in large numbers around known bird nesting sites, making use of their services to clean their feathers and remove any obvious parasites.

By winter, the plumage will shed, replaced by a thicker and less vibrant winter coat, keeping them warm during the colder months."
