This was my first attempt at making a tail and I'll say I'm kinda proud of how it came out. Aside from the whole 'too big for my skinny 5'1" behind' part.It's made with 2" really super soft fur, and the top was hand-trimmed down with scissors so the spots could show better. All hand stitched and I winged my own pattern from scratch.
So soft and fuzzy - woo-hoo for first tries!

I am in disbelief that this is your first try though. It is so good! Do you have a basic pattern I could borrow? I've been researching on how to make my own bun tail for awhile now, and haven't even come close to seeing one as adorable as this!

I do still have the pattern (if I can find it >.> <.< uh-oh....) and could definitely scan and upload it for you if you like. It's actually really simple.

Aww thank you <3 I know I do love the little pink stripes you have on the sides of the tail you designed, but I think some little spots would be sort of cute too. I just don't want to make it too hard to design ^^' You ripping out your hair would not be a good thing!

Don't worry at all about your design. I've got no problems with stripes and spots and long as there aren't five million micro-sopic ones. I'm a pretty tough cookie, and I kinda like the nitpicky little pieces. My hair will be intact, no worries. ^.^

Yeah, random gropes, hugs, pokes, snuggles and TMI's are an everyday thing for us. What can I say, we're may be weird, but we're fun weird. <3

Thanks bunches, it was a fun experiment! I knocked it out in about six hours from pattern to finish. helped fine tune my pattern - she makes amazing stuff!
