What this says to me is this:
5/5, double strike, rampage, pseudo persist (if that's the right way to describe it) for three mana?
That card is a mythic rare!
I won't even comment about occasionally using something like momentary blink on it when it's low on counters.
Oh wait, I just did!
If something like this existed, it'll probably be more expensive than some of the Moxes and/or lotus cards. And when that happens, I'll be at the shops, buying boosters by the crates!

except...
when it's put into a graveyard, all counters are removed.
When it comes into play again, it has three counters again.
I assume you meant that he would be returning only three times?

Thats a pretty powerfull card but my DDD deck would just mop the floor against that card.

OH gosh i feel like a geek, but i think the double strike ability is wasted if the mouse grows when he already took damage. It is a good blocker tough.

Well, you could always deal the damage to him yourself... say maybe an instant that deals one damage to target creature, so you now effectively have a 5/5 creature with mad bonuses and attack your opponent with it.
