This is about 80 shades of unfinished and I think I hate it. I had grand colouring schemes and ideas, but everything just went to hell (...apt).
I have to call it finished or else I CAN NEVER CONTINUE WITH ANY OTHER FORM OF ART EVER.
Arghhhh.
Anyway, yeah, this is Az, my ever-drawn D&D character, the result of many terrible decisions lead him to (briefly) become a half-dragon vampire. Possessed by some serious powerfully ancient dragon.
Awwh yeah.
Anyway, thanks and for their assistance in telling me what was wrong with it in the early stages when I still thought it could be saved as an artwork.
But it can't be saved, much like this character. (y)

Ugh. I know that feel about the bad decisions with a character. o_e; Sometimes, they just do the stupidest things, don't they? (Marcus broke the world. It was fun)

Ahh, it looks good! Cooling down the high contrast on the legs helped, it keeps the hierarchical focus on other elements. Now the cool spikes on the tail stick out and help lead the eye back up to the face. <3

I have the same problem as you, so many unfinished sketch-like pictures that I will never touch again... because I hate the most of them after spending too much time on them.
