She's absolutely, perfectly gorgeous! So glad that it all went well for you. I've been checking messages twice a day for the past two weeks waiting for news! You have so much wonder and happiness to look forward to. The first six weeks are the hardest, getting used to all the interrupted sleep but after that everything seems to fall into place. I wish you a speedy recover and make sure you get enough rest! All the best.

Oh I'm sure you will! The mothering instinct is one of the strongest, there's nothing else quite like it and you can't explain it to people who haven't got any kids. All the joys and precious moments overtake any hardships, you are in for a magical time.

Rest well girl, don't worry, as I recall they will feed you when they start hearing your stomach rumbling indicating things are working down there again.

Oh.... there will actually be plenty of time. They sleep quite a bit, and need to. Their little bodies are creating brain cells like crazy right now. She'll sleep a few hours then be awake a while then sleep some more. Feeding in between of course. Then they go off to school.... same stuff you did when you were growing up. So yes, there's time to put up the pictures of her. Ones Kiki took today (actually yesterday for you now) and the ones of all the tomorrows.

I have a feeling I'm gonna need all that sleep time for myself (just to add up to those glorious 12 hours I used to achieve sleeping) but there will be more photos coming, guaranteed!
