Beautiful. What i find fascinating is how quickly nature can reclaim itself in man's absence. Ive surveryed land for 6 years, and I have come across abandoned places that had been left as recently as 10 years. You could see trees growing where paved parking lots would have been. Life reclaiming those barren places. Vines that cover the remains of buildings. Until the Earth eventually swallows the last remaining remnants. Earth's scars are never permanent. Even man's mark will not remain forever.

It is wonderful, i looked at it much my whole life, i used to get so annoyed, around england land is all used as theres little space, so nothing is left long.. i watched many places slowly recover over a year or two, plants coming back etc, then one day they would come along and destroy it all again. Hope it stops soon, i know thats on the cards, im just unsure how it will go down yet.

You have both beauty and the sadness in this picture. The beauty of the landscape, trees and flowers and the sadness of mans pollution, with the bricks and tiles thrown into the stream.
I see the bluebells rising......like a violet mist about to cover the wood!

So much so, there were points on that stream where it met grey water and litter.. so it was sad and inspiring.. the blue bells were just coming.. got a pic of some.. so nice
