Native grassy plant growing on the vacant land next to my house.Taken during a brief break in our steady rains this week.

I really like this, Brett. They are really pretty flowers. Do you ever find yourself liking a photo and you are not sure why? Usually I like macros that are crisply focused and I don't see alot of that here, but I really do like it. Well, the composition and the colors are just lovely!! Thanks for posting flowers.

These were growing amongst the trigger plants in my other shot. Just a type of native grass. I like the composition of this best of all the shots I took of them. Probably should have used a smaller aperture though, I was enjoying trying to focus hand held with such a small depth of field.
