Got inspired to create this thing after a scuba diving weekend by the Swedish west coast a few weeks ago. Wanted to illustrate the undersea world in my comic’s universe.

Basically- All aquatic animals are just as sapient as terrestrial animals. They live in houses, do agroculture, has religious ceremonies etc. The big difference is that they don’t wear clothes, because a) Dressing a flounder is kinda awkward and b) Underwater, clothing wouldn’t do much besides reducing hydrodynamics (And it’s not like they had access to wetsuits in the viking age...)
The seals wear clothes because they spend time on the surface and thus confirms to the terrestrial norm of wearing clothes
