67. Playing the Melody
Like I said, this was originally going to be a HakuHina pic for *DateMe but I liked it better as a SasuHina pic. Oh well. Pose references were used because I have no frickin' clue how to properly hold either instrument let alone draw someone HOLDING it. So yeah, lots of googling, lots of squinting. D:

reminds me a bit of my fanfiction since Sasuke also plays a violin there. I like how you paired up Hinata with a flute; it really suits her. I have some suggestions if you don't mind...Hinata and Sasuke both look a bit skinny, especially Hinata's arms,

Wow, this is SO pretty. This is the only het pairing I like for Sasuke, so I'm always happy when I find really great art for them, that does them both justice!
I like the simplicity of the "shoujo ribbon" background, because it puts the focus on Sasuke and Hinata, where it should be, while still keeping the bg from being "plain white". Also, the way the ribbon "flows" also lends itself to being a visual representation of the music they're playing. Lovely.
Also, the copic-marker-like brush you found looks awesome. Out of curiosity, what program did you draw/color it in?

What's great is that these two characters have never even spoken to each other. She's a shy girl in love with the hero of the story, he's the brooding rival to the main hero who has legions of fangirls, but wants none of it. So yeah, I'm a sucker for the brooding emo falling for the only girl who isn't a fangirl of his. xD

For orchestra stuff, piano will always be my #1 instrument. Then the violin/viola and then the cello. The cello is such a sexy, sexy instrument.

The texture is actually the copic marker brush. It almost accurately makes you color on the computer as if you were coloring your picture with the markers professional artists use (like Kishimoto)
I really think the skin and Hinata's corset came out the most "copic marker" like.
