I love this. You capture a great sense of humanity in your photos but just as importantly they're really well-conceived in a visual way. I really like the short depth of field - maybe you can consider it a 'happy accident'

Beautiful photo, reminds me of a fairy tale that my grandmother used to tell me of a woman who controlled the whole world with spider webs.

Click, send, woops! (if not to say f++++ck!!!)
It happens to us all. I recall the long, infinitely profound and personal emails I used write to people years ago - and categorically regretting it on the following day.
You're not the first to mention more focus. I guess I agree - but maybe then the thread wouldn't have been as flowy?
Thanks for taking your time to comment. Peace.

Oh, man. Hear you about the emails. xD
More often than not, though, it's me opening my mouth....
I didn't mean for you to take offense- I was just expressing what I though.
But I do agree with you- the flowing illusion might not have been there.

No offense taken, brother. Would have loved to have seen more focus myself! But you know how it is with these "magic moments", there is only so much you can do to influence them - in the end it is what it is.
Click, send, sh-hite!!!

Oh my goodness...
This reminds me of a story (it was a huge compilation of virtue stories) I read once, where a man was given a ball of silver thread (a ball, a skein... I forget), and every time he pulled the string a little, time would move forward. The catch was that you couldn't put the thread back into the ball. Once it was out, it was out!
Before he knew it, he was an old man and didn't have any of the memories he would have had otherwise (of the lessons he had learned, of marrying his wife, of his little girl growing up, etc). Then the woman who gave him the ball appears, and offers him a chance to right everything- to go back in time and live it out normally.

Nice story. The magic yarn idea is not a new one, I remember reading something about it in a fantasy novel once...
