Well, here it is. My ten year venture. I've wanted this thing for the last ten years and it finally looks like I'm going to get it soon. Its a 1949 Ford with 1979 Ford running gears. The only down fall is the fact that it has a Chevy 350 in it for now. Obviously thats going to get yanked out faster than any other part of the project. With it, I get an almost new hood, and a whole parts truck. Updates and more pics to come.Related content

Looks great, and good for you for loosing the 350, it's a lie thatthey are better or easier to use in a rod, and the aftermarket is boomoing now for adding anything else, are you going for a Ford mill?
BTW, I have a brand new fiberglass flip front for it sitting here at home...

well, as far as the power plant goes, I'm either opting for a flat head v8, or I'm going to throw my 351w racing engine in it, most likely the 351. I may get back to you on that flip front end, if you could, throw a picture my way of it. I'm sure I won't need it for a couple of months but who knows. What would you need for it $$$$$. It comes with an almost new hood, but as you can see, the rest of the front end is pretty worn.
