Would Trunks be legally considered a prince? He was born out of wedlock, however we don't know how legitimacy laws works with Saiyans since usually the royal family are the only ones who marry

Not exactly, because Vegeta is not king. He had no coronation to make him one. Plus his planet exploded. No coronation, no king. Veggie will remain a prince for the rest of his life unless Planet Vegeta and the saiyans magically return. So technically Trunks is the Duke of all saiyans.

Like why their race is so powerful/ what their origin is? Or their ultimate limit of power? Either way, yes, I'd like to know about it. But who knows if Toriyama-san will ever reveal it.
