i couldn't resist ^^this shot is from the GrΓΆdner Joch/Passo Gardena/Jeuf de Freia to the West, you see the Sella on the left and the Langkofel /Sasso Lungo in front. ( now better seen that in my foto "hidden" [link] )
Yes, the line at the mountains feet is the official street! If you want to get really close to a mountain without climbing to, go there! it's impressive!
