Candy Diver Cookie got affected by the Ira Sea Weed Moss,of course underwater.They found one in a shipwreak,hoping to picture it up-close,but got spored.They did got a picture ( although the photo has the spores in it and is kinda blurry o-o ),but they then felt their clothes tighten.Before they could get a new suit,they suddenly felt some cramps.VERY PAINFUL cramps.When they did,they screamed in pain,realizing it.They could speak.

Of course,they hulked out,and a new persona took over.This persona is name Gumball Eel Cookie,a more serious,ommnious,violent,and mature version of Candy Diver Cookie.Since Candy Diver Cookie calls the depths of the ocean home,but got affected with a moss that turns Cookies into Hulks via water,Gumball Eel Cookie took Candy Diver's place.They are still a diver,but they also possess both the features of an anglerfish and a eel.Also,they marked a territory around Candy Diver's crashed and broken submarine,which in my headcannon is where Candy Diver met his death but does his research.

Gumball Eel Cookie's lantern,which is located on top of their helmet,gives them psychic abilities,so when they feels threatened or when someone bad gets into their territory,they won't heisitate to throw a shipwreak at anyone without touchin the ship itself.

Fortunatly,Gumball Eel Cookie stills shows respect ( especialy for Candy Diver ) ,and when they thinks someone is good,they let Candy Diver Cookie out.They did the same with Capt. Caviar Cookie,and seeing how they escaped the Duskgloom Sea together,Gumball Eel Cookie decided to use their powers to speak to Candy Diver Cookie as a voice in their head to join Capt. Caviar's crew.

The fact is,Candy Diver Cookie can hulk back into Gumball Eel Cookie anytime even without water,so nowadays,at night when everyone is asleep in the Salty Shark,after mopping the floor,they would let Gumball Eel out to check the sub,and then go out for a night swim afterwards.
