History: A long time ago, there lives a mimic inside a faraway dungeon. As a mimic, she needs to eat meat, and its favorite type of meat is human’s meat. Though it wants human’s meat, getting one is the hard part. Humans tend to run away once they feel that their life is in danger and only keeps on fighting if they’re on an advantage. The mimic thinks hard on how to solve this problem until she saw an adventurer who happily opens a treasure chest. He was so happy that he let his guard down only to be defeated by a surprise attack of a weak monster. At that time the mimic got a great idea and started to live as a treasure chest instead.
The mimic always disguises itself as a treasure chest and eats all the adventurers that are baited by greed. Her life continues in bliss until the time where the number of adventurers entering the dungeon declines.
The report of missing adventurers who entered the dungeon increased for a few months which spread fear towards them. Adventurers risk their lives to explore but not throw it towards known danger, thank god they are not total idiots at all but for the ones who feed on them, it’s a total disaster.
The time has come when adventurers stop entering the dungeon totally. The entrance is now covered by dirt making it look like just a normal forest. The dungeon is now totally forgotten.
Time goes by until a girl opened the dungeon gate and entered. She stands before the mimic and extended her hand and said with a smile, “This is my domain, so you are now my servant. Also disguising as a treasure chest is already an old trick, why not disguise as a little girl? I’m sure you will be able to eat more if you do it.”
The mimic does not know what this girl is talking about and looking at her closer, she does not look like someone who is delicious. The girl is giving away the stench of death which is not appetizing at all. Although eating her is not an option, there is one thing that rings into its ear, and that is to be able to eat more again. The mimic followed her instruction and transform into a girl. The other girl is pleased with her appearance and named her “Mimi” because she was a mimic. The mimic just tilted her head since speaking is not yet well known to her.
Mimi, as a treasure chest on her previous life, she sometimes spits out gold and gemstones after eating. Normally, it was a bad habit to spit after eating but her new master does not mind it at all or rather, she looks very pleased when she spits out something.
Time goes by and she was now able to speak freely. Unlike before, she is now very talkative and always talks about eating humans. On the other hand, her master is a bit irritated from it, especially when the humans start sending heroes to her place because of the missing humans who were actually eaten by Mimi.
