perhaps we are growing older and our heart is not as pure as kids to enjoy disney movies? (just joking) when we grow much much much older, our heart will become young again!

I think it's the strange and stupid idea of hollywood, because they're running out of new ideas, to put every movie back on the table, so it destroys their originally magic ... true, old farts young at heart

true, i heard disney changes quite a lot in order to push their movies to other region/market; hollywood movies are playing safe, we see many sequels and not many original ideas in recent year.

perhaps we are all growing older and nothing really much can surprise us now

Hollywood nowadays always play safe, sadly. I'm always happy to know the good old times, when cinema and movies had the magical touch . Times without massive spoilers, foreseeable storytelling, endless movie sequels with always the same and tiring plot structure etc, etc. Anyway, grumpy guy out

i think i can relate.  sometimes i enjoy movies from last century more than newer ones.
