Description
Long ago, during the great war between Angels and Demons, two great warriors met on the battlefield. Rubicante, one of the nine Demon Lords of Hell, crossed swords with Uriel, the wisest of the six Seraphim. It is said that they fought for centuries, with neither able to gain the upper hand. Realizing they were equals, Rubicante began seeking a different battle, courtship. Dazzled by his foe's beauty, he had fallen in love, and sought her hand in marriage. Uriel finally agreed to marry the Demon Lord, having been won over by his sincerity and fallen in love with him in return. They took on the name Lumina to celebrate their union, and their marriage was one of the driving forces behind the end of the great war.

"What could I say about Father? Many tell me that he is terrifying, and I can understand that. He works in the deepest pit of Hell, the frozen river Cocytus, and with a single beat of his wings, he can freeze the soul of a man solid. I'm told that his roar can shake the earth itself, but I've never heard it. He has always been very kind and doting to me and my sister. If it weren't for mother being so strict with us, I think he might have spoiled us rotten! I'm sure he is a terrifying beast when he needs to be, but when it comes to his wife and daughters, he's a big softie." -Ophelia Lumina

"My mom is one of the most beautiful creatures I've ever seen. She always wears a hood, and I didn't actually see her face until I was 12 years old. I had learned about the great war in my lessons. I worried that she secretly hated me for who I am I asked her if she really loved me or if she hated that I was born a demon, not an angel. I saw tears fall down her face, and was shocked when she picked me up, and held me at eye level. Mom took off her hood, and showed me her face for the first time. She has five eyes, and they burned brighter than the sun. She told me that she loved me more than anything else in the universe, and that nothing could ever change that." -Astrid Lumina

Honestly I never intended for there to be lore behind the monster girls, but whoops here it is. If you've ever wondered how a demon and an angel can be sisters, now you know! These characters started off as simple doodles, but I loved their characters so much I had to develop them more. There's nothing here to scale, but these two are HUGE. They are both over 30 feet tall, and thousands of years old. Enjoy!
