Hiya! I'd like to introduce Nightwatch the Soulhowl(details below), while shes probably not the first fursona I've done She's my First Official one, I'll likely draw her later in my own style but for now I've got this as a reference for when I make her suit or can afford to have one made.

Some fun stuffs! Nightwatch was originally an alebrije I made for a project in my digital art class, which is kinda funny as most alebrijes are bright and colorful, Nightwatch's colors are the way they are is because I was super into Bleach(still am, hah) in highschool and so everything I made in my art classes was basically fanart of some kind; so Nightwatch is a spirit animal based on Ichigo Kurosaki.
I love the uniqueness of Nightwatch's face and so I for some reason decided "Hey Nightwatch would make a cool fursona" but I fought myself a lot on this because shes a wolf and canines are super common in the fursuiting world, but I pushed past it and am so glad I did because I love the way she turned out.

Nightwatch is what I call a Soulhowl, despite the name they are not restricted to canines, actually they can be any animal or creature as they are spirit animals, their appearances typically are representative of their owners or the Soul/Spirit they're attached to. for example Nightwatch is a wolf, the soul she is attached to is courageous and loyal, however he is also vicious and defensive, the colors in this particular case are representative of this person's abilities or powers but they could represent personality traits or just who you are in general, heck you could base a Soulhowl off an anime or cartoon character like I have. Now I'm not sure if others have created the same type of species or something similar but if you know there is one let me know, but feel free to use Soulhowl as species name, honestly though I don't think they're really any different from most normal Sonas aside from maybe energy tails and wings/or horns, but ehh I'm kinda new -=^~^=-
