You do know your mother had to be pregnant in order to make you. So that means you hate your mother and yourself

In a way, when the baby is in the womb it is kinda like a parasite, since the baby feeds off the mother. So in a way, he's kinda right

Dude, wtf. You are practically calling EVERY HUMAN ON THIS PLANET AND MORE a parasite. Parasites are stuck with you for life just to suck the life out of you for no reward. Pregnancy is when you make out with the man of your dreams, and carry your baby in your fetus for about nine months so you can have a child that you can share all you love with.

I don't really understand why people call fetuses parasites...

They ARE humans. Regardless of what you say about abortion, if two people have sex, they run the chance of pregnancy (if contraceptives fail, aren't used, etc.). A fetus isn't another species, it was created by TWO HUMANS and is A DEVELOPING human.

I love how fetuses turn into parasites as soon as abortion is brought up. Because an alien totally implanted its child into my body, obviously a human egg and a human sperm don't make a human.

the litteral definiton of parasite is a thing inside you living by taking things off of you

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GigaPipen1407 In reply to Honey-Skulls [2018-08-09 23:34:40 +0000 UTC]

The "literal definition" of a parasite (also known as parasitism) is a relationship between two organisms where one organism (the parasite) benefits by harming another organism (the host), as opposed to biological relationships such as mutualism and commensalism. Another keyword being, the two organisms also need to be DIFFERENT SPECIES from each other. A fetus is a human being-- it's produced by two humans having sexual intercourse, it has the DNA of a human, and as it develops in the uterus and outside of it, it eventually becomes an adult human being. The benefit to the fetus is that it gets to grow and develop, the benefit to the mother is that her species gets to continue.Β  A fetus is the product of a little something we call "reproduction," without which our species--and every other non-asexual species-- wouldn't be able to exist.

Fetuses are humans, not parasites. Think a little bit before you speak.

GigaPipen1407 In reply to Honey-Skulls [2018-08-10 01:10:28 +0000 UTC]

And luckily, the vast majority of pregnancies don't have any serious medical complications, and when they do we have a magical thing called medical technology that can help people not die from giving birth, and in the case of pregnancies that are guaranteed to end in a stillbirth/death of the mother, even the majority of pro-lifers are perfectly fine with abortions in case of medical emergencies. It's also possible to "ruin your life" from things like being hit by a car while crossing the street...are you going to refuse to go outside simply because of the off-chance that you'll die in a car wreck. You can "ruin your life" by getting into a bad marriage, should we make it illegal to be married so that abusive relationships will never happen? Neither cars nor marriage are parasites. In fact, most things that exist are capable of ruining your life in one way or another. You can't call something "a parasite" simply because it MIGHT have a negative effect on your life.

You're really closed-minded if you think people can't still be successful/happy with a child in their life. It's pretty gross of you actually, that you would rather convince people that a living organism is a parasite and that their best option is to kill it, instead of doing things like directing them to places/people that can help them be successful parents even in unsuccessful situations. There are tons of options, from non-profit charities to churches and even schools/universities that offer everything from medical care to baby supplies to support groups for single parents/parents who are going to school.

Honey-Skulls In reply to GigaPipen1407 [2018-08-10 01:14:54 +0000 UTC]

there's also adoption from when you don't want the child but is stupid enough to not abort and so you leave it for adption and it will stay most of its life without a familiy and have a horrible life or they still keep it and it still have a horrible life because the parents don't like/want it

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GigaPipen1407 In reply to Honey-Skulls [2018-08-10 01:47:40 +0000 UTC]

Choosing to not abort isn't something for people that are "stupid enough to not abort." For someone who's pro-life-- the movement that's entirely based on "it's none of your business what I do with my body" and "my body my choice"-- you sure are quick to judge people for what they do with their body, lmao. That's pretty hypocritical.

Then don't put it up for adoption if you're that concerned about the kid being abused. Fix the adoption system. Encourage more people to adopt instead of letting society obsess over how much more "special" having biological kids of your own is. Work for things like paid maternity/paternity leave. Donate to organizations that help financially struggling parents. Start HELPING other people so they feel like keeping their kid is a viable decision, instead of being one of those people who says that having a kid will "ruin your life." Build a society where people feel like they'll have help raising their kids if they need it, instead of just saying "lol the system sucks, just kill fetuses instead, don't try to actually change anything."

Stop blaming the kids for existing, and start telling parents that they can't just abuse/neglect the child that they made just because they made bad decisions and didn't feel like dealing with the consequences.

GigaPipen1407 In reply to Honey-Skulls [2018-08-10 02:32:06 +0000 UTC]

Stop for a second and calm down, and think about trying to not take things so literally if you're so freaked out that I'm telling you to personally fix every single issue in society by yourself.

Plenty of kids contribute to society without spending money. Two words: volunteer work. Use Google and actually look for organizations in your area that need help. Ask the teachers at your school if you can start a donation drive for stuff like baby formula, baby clothes, food, etc; I've seen tons of school organizations do donation and charity events, from Boy/Girl Scouts to Student Council to JROTC and music, so it's not like you have to organize all of it by yourself either. Things like women's shelters are the places most likely to have parents who need help supporting their kids. But you don't even have to focus specifically on reproductive rights. If you want to help with general poverty then just go look and see if there are any food banks and homeless shelters nearby.Β  Volunteer work looks good on your applications to college too, if you live in the U.S. (and if you want to go to college). You can even just google "how can teenagers be involved in activism" for some basic ideas of social issues you can fight and organizations you can join. If you really can't do that, than things as simple as donating old clothes and cans of foods to your local church closet can make a difference for at least one person.

Don't just assume that your teachers and other adults don't care when you haven't asked them. For teachers especially, it's their JOB to help you become an educated and politically informed/active citizen. If not your teachers, then your school should have some sort of guidance or career counselor you can ask too. You're too young to be thinking that no one in the world cares about anything and will just turn their nose up at you if you ask for help to make things better.

Speaking of Google, fetuses can most definitely feel pain, depending on the definition it can be as early as 7 weeks (about 2 months).Β www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/artic… . That's of course if you consider "being able to feel pain" as the start of life, but even among pro-lifers there are different opinions as to when that is. "Being able to be killed" isn't about feeling pain, it's about being alive in the first place, and as a teenager I'm sure you've already learned that the smallest unit of life is the cell, and fetuses are composed of...you guessed it, cells. They're alive, and after a few weeks of being developed, they can indeed feel pain.

I tried to answer you seriously when you asked me what one teenager can do to help fix society, I hope I helped at least a little bit besides just yelling at you about abortion.

i'm french and we already have enough shit with macron as president because for him

rich need to control everything and get even more rich and poor aren't important and whatever if they die on the street or are homeless

in france college is something you need to go because of the law, you can't stop to go to school before you're 16 and you got to college from 12 to 15 years old

i'm in a private catholic school, they know there's more atheist than christian students but they still wouldn't like talking about it, idk how it is in the usa but here asking teachers for help for society isn't normal and many of them would say it's not their job, their job is making you an adult already ready to work when you finished college

i have no idea what "women shelter" is and i don't think it exist here

part of my old clothes where sold a long time ago, the other part my mom want to keep them because she just want to keep everything that i had, she even kept my fucking umbilical cord

i still will never call removing a blob of blood "murder" because if removing a foetus is murder then removing a tumor is murder too

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GigaPipen1407 In reply to Honey-Skulls [2018-08-10 16:20:52 +0000 UTC]

I mean if you can't comprehend the difference between the product of reproduction--a human being that's simply at the phase in its life cycle where it can't survive outside of a uterus-- and a malignant clump of cells that forms as a result of abnormal cell division and has no effects besides impairing its host's body functions and possibly killing it, then you're honestly too dense for me to continue this conversation.

I tried to give you ways that you could actually help out your society in good faith. Again, Google is your friend. I doubt the United States is the only country in the world that has charities and volunteer organizations that offer ways for teenagers to help out.

No. If even half of his/her stamps are serious, it would require a tremendous amount of malice.
This person's hatred of all things human is too intense to be anything but the product of a damaged mind. Also, quite disturbingly, the way they see other people as their intelectual inferiors, as well as their selfish ambitions of power and dominance, and imposing their will on everybody else (religion should be banned or at least oppressed, pregnancy should be stigmatized, human experiments should be legal) is a standard personality trait of actual historical dictators. If this person would somehow end up in a position of power, they might become the next Hitler.

And no. This person is not a troll. No troll would be this persistent and obsessed. This crosses the line between offending people and making an ass out of yourself.

The bigger problem is that many of these stamps are being fully supported and featured by groups, which on the surface, claim to be free thinkers, and champions of human rights fighting against conservative oppression. This fact casts a rather darks shadow on their true nature and purpose.

I actually quit law a couple of years ago, I'm just too lazy to update my profile.

I didn't really study psychology anymore than anybody else, although now that I'm studying to become a critic, it keeps coming up, considering how many writers have a thing for mental problems, and how many tropes are actually rooted in the human subconscious.

But the main reason I know this is because I tend to hang around trolls alot and know how their mind works, and a lot of people like this one who are known to be mentally ill. And just by looking at the stamps I can tell this person is misanthropic, narcissistic, and a control freak. Worse yet, Europe's political climate is very favorable for aggressive radicals to rise to power on the right wing, and as a rightie myself, I'm not particularly fond of the idea.
