Description in Greek mythology, a mountain nymph of Mount Ida, the daughter of the Cebren, the river God, and the beloved of Paris, a son of King Priam of Troy. Oenone and Paris had a son, Corythus, but Paris deserted her for Helen of Sparta.

Bitter, Oenone refused to aid the wounded Paris during the Trojan War. Apparently, she was the only one who could cure him. Out of remorse, she arrived at Troy too late to save him. She was overcome with grief and later committed suicide.

Trying to brush up on my Greek Mythology papers i found from high school. A great source of inspiration
