EDIT:I'm sorry, I had to change parts of the image due to some reasons- I added additional sectioning (vertical) lines, changed the blood splotches. If the effect is NOT to your liking (whether initial or post-edited, please dont fav, or unfav if already faved).I smile, the very facade radiating a confirmed-positivity.
The mask I wear, it no longer is, for it has become a compulsive face of its own.
As long as I keep everyone around me happy, I no longer have to pickup broken pieces-
Broken hearts; shattered hopes and fanning away illusions.
I smile, because I can. Keep it up.
Ever so often,
the innocent and curious comes along-
They read me critcally, like art at an open exhibition.
The mask of smiles cracks, for they dont look at my smile-
They look, curiously into my eyes...
They find something else there.
They find, what is truly behind the exterior.

I really like the concept and how you have put this all together. My only bug is the band of sky on the left. Not sure what it is supposed to be conveying.

I love the idea behind this, but don't really like what's behind the exterior. Not the fact that it's blood.... it just doesn't look as real as the rest of the image. But no matter what

I think that the whole uneasy, non-realistic look when the blood juxtopose itself against the blue gives it a nice 'un-rightness' if you will. Like the description suggesting fakeness on the exterior- which in the piece looks smoother, more refined; against the simple and misplaced blood on white.
Its my interpretation of it, but I guess everyone else sees differently in the piece
