I haven't used coloured pencils in ages
barely touched them since I discovered watercolour pencils - which count as painting

trick is not to put much water on the brush. dip it in clean water then wipe it on edge of container to remove excess water before applying to the paper. it's also an idea to let each colour dry before moving to the next, or to at least move to a different area of the page to work.

This piece looks so stunning! wooo! I love the amount of detail you've put into Wolborg and Tala! 
Nicely done again, and from what I can tell, not sure if this is correct or not, is looks as though this is done completely with pencils! That makes it even more intense!

Thanks, I like WolBorg too and I think I must have forged my ice from the cold strom, I forged Yuri released. I like the use of colored pencils.
