Description
Darkseid the most powerful villain in the DC Universe.
And I hope that any when even film gets
a film version of the new God or as a possible villain for the Justice League movie.

There is an actor by the name of Geno Segers. He played Chayton Littlestone on the Cinemax show "Banshee". He has a very distinctive voice. He's like this generation's James Earl Jones. Coincidentally, he plays Mufasa in the stage version of The Lion King.

Christopher lee should definitely voice him, because the dude will be mostly CGI right? Well get a badass to voice him and Christopher has the most badass voice there tied with James Earl JonesΒ

Denzel for the body motion capture,
and Brolin for a face.
Then BAM, instant Darkseid.

well we can rule out Josh Brolin because he's Thanos and thats too similar to be both, but these are some really good name. I really like Michael Ironside that be cool since he was the voice of Darkseid in JL/U animated series.

If it was voice work with a CGI Darkseid, I'd say Cumberbatch or Keith David.Β No offense to Jones, but he's too typecasted as "the voice of Vader"; don't get me wrong, he would do a good job, but Darkseid would then become a joke to a lot of fans and just be called "Vader 2.0...bigger and badder".
To physically play the character...I'd go with Haysbert (if he were to hit the gym again like he did for The Unit) or even Cumberbatch (if he bulked up a bit at the gym and he would need extensive CGI work or prosthetic make-up).Β Brolin, maybe...but isn't he going to play Thanos?
One person who probably could have pulled it off physically and voice-wise, sadly, the late Michael Clarke Duncan.

Duncan would be without a doubt been a great Darkseid.
My favorite for Darkseid would be Keith David. He also the right face for it. Then a little CGI magic, and it can go.
