Created from using a sample of blood from Vigilant himself, Ubergirl was supposed to be another in a long line of secret expreiments from Lothor to defeat the alien hero. The original intention was to create a creature as strong as Vigilant but even their top scientists were unable to fully crack his genetic code.

The project was all but dead when one of the scientists suggested combining the alien DNA with human DNA that they did understand and so could be manipulated more easily. She offered her own blood for the project and soon enough a human/Yutaran hybrid was born. Of course that "birth" took place in a test tube which is also where she spent most of her young life where she was force feed all the information she would need.

Being that she was origianlly supposed to be a weapon most of the information was fighting and battle tactics as well as how to use her incredible powers. Everything was going as planned until the lead scientist realized she was growing attached to the girl in a motherly way. Realizing she couldn't let her live her life as just a living weapon, she slowly began to rewrite the eductational program as well as slowly earse all project data from the mainframe.

Eventually she reached the point where she freed the girl and fled the facility in the middle of the night, leaving no trace of the project or her own identity. Moving across the country in secret the two evnetually made their way to Maimi, Flordia where they set up a new life as Rebecca Chambers and her daughter Lexi.

All was going well for awhile until Lexi started getting ideas of using her amazing powers to help people in need. Of course her mother forbad her, saying that not only would it bring unnessecary attention to them but as a human/Yutaran hybrid her power was only half that of either Vigilant or even Vigilant Girl. Lexi almost agreed with her mothers wishes but when other teenage heronies started popping up all around the city she took it as a sign.

Crafting her own costume, she soon made her debut as Ubergirl, Champion of Justice! Naturally it didn't take long for her to attract the addition of the various criminals in Miami as she started cleaning up the streets. Fortunately she also attracted the attention of the other heronies and she soon came face-to-face with other costumed girls calling themselves Pierce and Quiver(collectivelly known as the Arrow Sisters), Cy-Girl and Firma. After the introductions where over Pierce suggested they all teamed up to better fight the crime in the city and the others readily agreed becoming the teen girl team known as the Fighting Femmes!

Now with the help of her new friends, Ubergirl is more than willing and able to really put her powers to use for the betterment of mankind.

At least until her mom finds out.
