Well, growing up in prison would tend to make you speak in slang and very improperly. However, I imagine he's cultivated good grammar (and that weird French pronunciation of things) on purpose for the presentation. I mean, he just wouldn't be as impressive a villain if he talked like a Michigan gangster. A couple times in the movie you notice him slip out of that accent into a more normal voice, briefly. So, I imagine that his speech patterns are something he works at. However, even if he were slipping in this scene, he wouldn't skip the "am" (or abbreviated "'m") in that sentence. That's just not the way gang slang sounds.

But, again, great picture!
