He's fine. i think..Finally figuring out how Dume actually functions, ha ha ;<; I'm doing it backwards, but it's ok.

I'm very invested in robotics and I know quite a lot about them, and since Dume is one of my favorite robots it's nice to see you finally developing his inner mechanisms!
If you're looking for advice, right now I think the chest looks pretty good. You got the "ribs", which make it look human, along with the battery, and I'm assuming that big ol' tank is the stomach, right?
I see a tube leading down, does he use the bathroom like normal humans to expel waste, or does it lead somewhere else, like the wires needed to control the leg mechanisms?
If you're gonna do the rest of the body, I think basic joints for the arms, elbows, legs, knees, and fingers would work!
And for the face (if you want to reveal it, your choice) A basic skull with maybe some servos for emotional movement would work!
Just ask me if you need any help, I absolutely love anything robotic and it would be an honor to help someone like you!

The batteryβs the box in his sternum with he green thing on it ;w; So it can be easily removed and replaced if needed.
The big silver thing in the middle is what Iβm gonna call the βblack boxβ, which is where all the stuff that makes Dume work goes xD Since I have no idea what it'd take to actually make a robot who can think and feel and such..

And heβs kinda got like, a holding tank for a stomach? Itβs got porous walls for water to escape into his βbio gelβ filling, lol. And the solid stuff is expelled whenever itβs convenient.
The arms and legs are so much easier to design, aaah ;w;'

Ooooooh, it's nice to know what those things are used for!
I'd imagine you're kinda right for the black box thing: Mostly if you were to build a robot that would think and feel, it would need a LOT of circuitry. The stomach is a good area to hold all of those circuit boards, due to it having much more space than the head!
So it would kind of be an idea to have the head where all of the information is taken in, like sight, smell, taste, hearing, etc. And all those processors in the stomach process it! I guess you could call it thinking with your stomach! XD
And the actual stomach itself makes sense! Since artificial organs obviously can't digest foods like we humans can, maybe there would be some sort of "melting down" sequence of converting all of that food into some sort of chemical used for powering the battery, since eating can give us energy! And all of the waste afterward that couldn't be converted due to their structural makeup could be, well, "pooped" out!
I'm super excited to see this finished! I'm definitely a robot fan, feel free to ask for any ideas on Dume! I absolutely love that bot!

Sadly, I never really did robotics.
My job on the science team was to memorize all the vocabulary and have common sensea very important job.
not robotics.
Though if I was building a robot I'd probably seal the wires in those plastic tubes to protect them from breaking and shorting out.Β
