After the feedback, or lack thereof on the third part of the Disco Panic arc(one I felt did a good job, but maybe might need editing to be what my heart wanted it to be) I’m taking a bit more time to retool my writer’s voice for the next few parts. I’m suspecting the real issue is that as much as I love horror as a genre I’m just not built in a way that builds proper suspense and mystery.

So that said, I’m going to be posting a few more race and character bios before revisiting some of my other timelines I’ve posted here in hopes I can take a break and finish the Disco Panic arc the way I intend to instead of forcing myself to write it despite a momentary lack of confidence in my execution. Times like these I wish I got more comments as feedback for what I do right and wrong. Anyway, character Bio.

Snippet:
Corva used to have a different name and life, but that time has faded beyond current memory for all but the emperor she serves. She was always defiant and spirited, but always on principle. She would not disobey without good reason. Still, the emperor insisted that total compliance must be the law or the empire would crumble. As her punishments for defiance added up, but her spirit did not break, the emperor took a shine to her.

As her organic parts were removed her emotions mellowed but her drive to do what is best for her emperor and people never changed. She has and will always refuse orders that damage the empire, and her compassion will remain as cold and unmoving as Tungsten.
