A year later, his antics would be uncovered by Cosmic Patrol and Douglas would come to recruit him. Seeing a true purpose for himself finally, he would agree.

As a part of the special unit under Shawn, Dean would find himself not only pushing and expanding his durability to entirely unreasonable extremes, but also working alongside Douglas and Shawn on expanding on and developing their tech. What started as a simple down to earth mechanic became a man who is often called the strongest shield in the galaxy. The Man Unbroken.
