I'm assuming that since the dog has a gas mask, that he has organic lungs, the question is, why isn't he wearing his mask? The guy (or possibly girl) is wearing his, meaning that there is either some kind of contamination that the dog is being exposed to, or he is about to go somewhere without the dog where there might be... idk, amazing picture though, I like the little frowny face on the kneepad.
