Incredible impact of emotion here between Raphael and Slash.
Although I prefer all the stray pencil lines be erased, it does make for an interesting sketchy look mixed with stronger lines so it's alright.
Line work is very VERY good as is the coloring, but the subject matter is the real strength here.
Raph is hurting very much from losing Spike / Slash in his life and I think Slash feels the same, but since he was mutated with less human DNA and more Turtle, he behaves more like an animal than a person. Animals are more independent that people sometimes and perhaps Slash feels he doesn't need Raph as he did in the past.
But Raph being half human and terrapin, his human side longs for his beloved pet and friend. It is good to know in the recent episodes that Raph and Slash have made up somewhat though Slash wants to be on his own.

just a word of warning before you do,
unwanted bonds has gore, infant death and lots of angst.
just so you can't say you haven't been warned
it's not a happy story.

It's so sad😭. Raph was devastated in that episode that Spike and Slash both left him. His best friend technically died and then tried to kill him and his family. That would break anyone's heart. Good picture
Side note: I drew an adorable picture of these two but don't know if I should even bother uploading it. Would anyone even want to see it? Sorry for asking on your picture. I faved

I love this its sooooo sweet , I've written a little fanfic/theory thing about spike and raph and how they first meet (including how raph got crack in his plastron) and id love someone to come and give me their opinion of it (its called bloody past part) sorry if im kind of desperate . still love your work
