A couple sketches of my Stormcutter OC who's full name is actually Thorin for now. At least until I find the norse word for Storms or Thunder. The first two were completely free-hand sketches of him all angry and junk (badly done though) and the last one is of him and his rider, Megara of the Moonstar Clan.

Screaming Death is a rare once in a million years albino-like Whispering Death. Plus it looked male so dont use that. As for the Skrill, the chief of Moonstar (who is NOT Mega's relative at all. His son is just a good friend of hers) and his son both have on. They're not near as rare. And the Nadders seem decent. But could Phoenix be a human? Cause I'm working on a HTTYD fanfiction that focuses more on the humans in terms of speaking. The dragons are still a huge part of it, but humans actually talk.

It just makes it easier since my sona's a human in this too. I want to keep the story as canon to the world of HTTYD as possible without it being a total copy or bringing the characters from the movie in. Cause it takes place years after, where some viking clans have taken up dragon training as well while others are against it and tend to fight with the rider clans.

Did this happen before or after he became hot? lol *shot* It's cool. I had a crush on him in the past too. Shockingly before they came up with his new look. XD But now I'm so into Hiccstrid I don't really have an opinion on OC and Hiccup pairings. lol

deep in the bushes near the town of berk a young girl who looked to be about 19,was running fast she soon saw the town and ran in she had her hand on her arm from one of the many cuts on her body she had gotten int a bit of a bind but got out of it,she ran into a building and hid as best as she could and fell asleep for the night

Uh, could we start that again? I didn't want Berk involved in this. It's about the isle of Moonstar which is miles away from Berk. Plus it takes place years after the events of the movies so the characters may all be dead or really old.

Sounds fair. I really don't want to play Hiccup most of the time though. Especially not in romanc-y moments later on.

The isle of Moonstar, a decent sized island visited by dragons of all shapes and sizes (all but Night Furies anyway, cause for these RPs the headcanon is that Tooth really was one of the last). Moonstar also happened to be home of one of the few remaining Dragon Rider clans.
As this monologue takes place, a large female Skrill with a large, tough-looking male viking soars over a village. The dragon lets out a roar, really just for the fun of it.
See after the fall of Drago Bloodvist (I think that's his name...), the isle of Berk had slowly begun to expand its ideas of working with dragons rather than against them. It took some time but now, many years later, some clans have joined the Hairy Hooligans (the Berk tribe) views.
A 16 year old girl with a bit past shoulderblade-length dark brown hair and bright sapphire blue eyes, grunted as she reached the top of the tree she had been climbing. She pushed some branches aside and gasped in awe at the view.

a girl who was about 17 watched the dragon too she smiled she loved dragons she always wanted one but she was so shy she was almost a shadow she wished she wasn't so shy so for the first time she steped into the sun light and gazed upon the sky and everything around her she then saw the other girl

(The girl I was mentioning was actually looking at the forest. The Skrill had been the chief's dragon and it was to show what we're dealing with in terms of living conditions.)
Once she had had her fill, the brunette sighed contentedly and sat back. She then started climbing down, not having looked to the ground she hadn't seen the other girl.
"Alright, that'll be 5 ruins then, Balvok." She smirked at the tallest and oldest of the three boys waiting at the bottom of the tree. He grimaced but pulled out the pouch of money he promised her if she succeeded in reaching the top.
(You want me to explain who the three are? Or do you just wanna find out as the story goes along?)

the girl approched the four people"h-hi"she said shyly

The other teens turned to look at her.
"Hello." Balvok said his his calm voice. (I imagine him sounding a bit like Kingsly Shacklebolt in HP. But younger.) The others waved or said a curious "Hi." as well.

"Seeing if Meg could climb that tree." The boy to Balvok's right who had wild red hair and was missing a few teeth...And looked to have had his eyebrows singed off more than once judging by his ashen and wild-looking facial features explained.
"Naturally I could." Meg, the only girl of the four, stated somewhat proudly as she pocketed her winnings.

"i have climb a larger and taller tree than that before"she stated she loved to climb she felt freeΒ

Mega raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really?" She crossed her arms over her chest with a challenging smirk. Her friends looked at one another, knowing she could be quite competitive.

the girl nodded with a slight smile on her face"yes all the way to the top"

"Hm. I think we need to prove this. Tree climbing contest. Tomorrow." Meg smirked, "You in?"

"sure why not"she smirked back slightly then frowned"though i have no place to stay"

"What are you talking about?" Meg raised an eyebrow, "Aren't you from the village?"
"Meg, you're the only girl in the village around our age." Crash, the boy with the wild look, reminded her.
"So you are an outsider then." Balvok's eyes narrowed suspiciously.

"no i have been her for a few months but i never had a place of my own so i many stuck to the shadows"she explaindΒ

"Where have you been living then? Someone would have seen you by now." Meg raised an eyebrow.

"in a cave"she said bluntly"the cheif said if i could find someone to stay with i could stay with them but no wants me in there home"

"My father did not tell me this." Balvok frowned, "What is your name?"

"...Oh, so you're the Phoenix we've been hearing about." The other boy that hadn't said anything until then remembered his mother telling him something about her. Balvok also remembered.
"Am I the only one not told anything?" Meg demanded irritably.

phoenix who had floor length black hair but had it up in a braid(lik astrid) looked at her not knowing what to say really

"Look, you need somewhere to stay I'll get my grandparents to make room for you." The girl said suddenly, "They owe me that much after planning my life out for me." She growled that last bit bitterly under her breath, quite angry with her only known living relatives.

"Cool. That said, I'm Megara. Call me Meg or Mega though. Everyone does." Mega nodded then started introducing everyone, "Then that's Crash Forgeton, Eric (not SP Eric mind. But he is based off my version of his teen self in appearance design) Stavzgon, and Balvok Goreflinz."
Each raised a hand in greeting, though Balvok simply nodded stiffly. He tried so hard to be like his father.

He pointed dramatically. (I assume all clans have a Great Hall. They just look different.)

They reached the hall where dragons and vikings alike were milling around.Β

"Take your pick." Balvok invited, gesturing to the table of assorted foods. It was lunch time anyway.

The others followed to grab their own lunch.

phoenix grabed two big chicken legs and some potatos then sat down she watched the others getting there food

Once they all grabbed their own food they sat down with her. As they ate, conversation was struck up.
"So what else are you good at?" Meg asked as she bit into her own chicken leg.
