I actually think this is supposed to be based on the classic "bedsheet ghost". It would explain why its "face" is so poorly drawn, as well as why you can only see its real eyes (you know, when it's not attacking with shadows or whatever-). There's no confirmation on what it truly is yet, but that's my best guess.

I read somewhere that he should be a puppet that was shaped like Pikachu , only then it is replaced but for sure I did not leave aside this possibility

While everyone's loving this pokemon's cuteness, I'm loving its dual typing! ^w^ A ghost/fairy type would resist dark, poison, and steel, leaving its one x2 weakness to ghost.
Plus it would be immune to normal, fighting, ground(if it has levitate), and dragon. Potentially 4 immunities ^w^

I 've thought so , not only has a special history as Banette but has lots of potential . I love it and usually do not prefer the kind fairy, it will be because it's also kind of dark that I love in particular ^^

I was wrong that it will be weak to steel as well as ghost and only three immunities(normal, fighting, and dragon.)
But its fairy typing makes it resistant to dark. :3
