So I am SUPER backlogged with DA, and despite ycon just happening I am going to start with... SAKURACON! 8DWe did Fushigi Yuugi which was tons of happiness. FY was one of the first series I really fell into, back in 8th grade... hurr. xD Amiboshi has always been my favorite character and I have wanted to cosplay him for years... but I kept pushing the cosplay back and back for other plans. But this year, I was finally able to thanks to some seriously awesome people. We had a lot of crunchtime with all the costumes this year, and I was so pressed for time I didn't get to 100% complete the wig styling (eep @-@), but it was worth it in the end!
Something about cosplaying a character you have loved ever since you were young, before you even knew what cosplay was, is so nostalgic and livening. n-n
