Even when two of the glowing shapes padded onto the road, their twisted furnace heads hanging low, she still refused to believe it. She watched the fire burning in their throats and from the slits that stippled their armored sides like gills, knowing she should be running while she still could. The matched pair of dog-shaped horrors crossed the road in a heartbeat. All the way at the top of the rise, she could smell the mingled stench of charred meat, ash, and wet animal they left behind. As she stared, frozen, they arrowed into the forest and dispersed. The speed of their passage burnt long-tailed afterimages on her eyes."
A corehound design I really like. I FINALLY digitally colored something that I also like.
