Another portrait practice of Dante from DmC5. A more dramatic one compared to Kita..... and I know you guys just eat up fan art. I hadn't posted any Devil May Cry stuff in a while that was anything close to badass.So here you go. Eat your hearts out.
I played the demo and I liked it. It felt like Devil May Cry.

Nice fanart but....Sorry to say this but it urks me when people called this game Devil May Cry 5

Well, when I say DMC or Devil May Cry, people mistake it for the whole franchise and arguments ensue that this Dante is not Devil May Cry. However it is still part of the Devil May Cry franchise being the 5th game, specifically, and yes the game is actually called "DmC" but it is still "Devil May Cry." The story IS different, almost completely. i feel like i'm going in circles... sorry. Dante has a twin brother from whom was separated in childhood and grew up separately to eventually clash from their difference in ideals. Mundus has been the archnemesis of Dante as being the origin of Dante's life as a demon hunter, the bastard shapes him by the death of his parents.
Dante of DmC did change a bit to show his big heart. One thing I found funny was the joke Capcom/Ninja Theory pulled with the white wig in the first mission. They regarded that as silly but then they put Vergil in a hat... lol I, too, thought that Vergil was weak and useless to the story and to his character... until you fought him at the very end. I did die once- he hardly left any openings for me to see as the battle went on. But that was it. I was a disappointed, but then again, i haven't played the DLC. Phineas played the part of informant- a small part if you ask me. Yeah... playable-wise, Kat wasn't much but to the story she was the most useful character.
Buuut... yeah. I didn't find very many memorable one-liners either. Other than "fuck you" or the competitiveness of Dante and Vergil...

I admit I liked the argument with DINO and VINO, the rest I didn't find much humour at all. And I still don't call it a Devil May Cry game in my book, sorry 
The whole white wig thing was basically a slap in the face to us (yes, I know this because Tameem from Ninja Theory is a very rude guy and has insulted us in the past saying the old Dante is not cool anymore, and other offensive stuff), even the DLC skin of the DMC3 Dante costume was a birdy flipping at us. They made Dante pudgey on the waist, his legs are screwed up, and his hair is Nero's. Yeah, I still say that's a slap in the face and Ninja Theory and CapCom's way of telling us, "f*** you, here's your beloved Dante back, happy now?".
And the story doesn't tie with the series because Eva was not an angel, Dante was ALWAYS born with white hair (see concept art from DMC1, and in Marvel vs CapCom 3 Dante says for when he wins that his hair has ALWAYS been white), and Vergil is not a sadistic killer like VINO. Vergil has always been the type who wants nothing but to get stronger (I can't see him being a wuss, ever. Except for when he was a kid maybe), and he'll only kill anyone who gets in his way, or just for more power, not in a sadistic way.
Now sorry that I'm making these long comments, I just want to clarify of what's going on. I'm a huge fan of the old series, and even though this game is not horrible, it's been a complete mess with sales, DLCs, insults, glitches, etc. And I'm sick of Ninja Theory and CapCom doing nothing but bull crap. They're saying now that Resident Evil is gonna be rebooted next, and this saddens me. Devil May Cry didn't deserve to have a reboot because there were still some plot holes.
Now if they were to make a DmC 2, I'm hoping it would be a LOT better than the 1st one, and Ninja Theory won't have to work on this one. But I'm hoping more for a Devil May Cry 5 to be made. Thing is though if they were to make a Devil May Cry 5, it would probably be rushed like DMC4 since CapCom has reduced their development times to 2.5 years now

I wouldn't call him bishonen. He's more a natural looking guy with good charm. I like that he's not as handsome as old Dante. It makes newDante stand out more.

Yeah the usual trademark weapons are there. I heard there's a DLC for Vergil. I'm hoping they keep his character the same too; that he has an treacherous motive up his sleeve. The developers said Dante has a hard exterior and yet a soft heart underneath. I think Vergil has a facade too- a friendly, soft exterior with a hard heart. Thats just my thoughts.

yea oh and vergil will be in it go to my favorits and go to the devil may cry file it has gameplay gifs of it and from what i understand its gunna be how devil may cry 4 was, one half of the game will consist of dante and the oother half vergil

Ah yeah thats from the DLC you can buy from the Network. DLCs are usually separate from the main game. But it would be cool to play as Vergil but I hope it won't be like DMC3 or really 4 for that matter. I want his own story. I don't want to just run through the game as him following Dante's tracks and I don't want to backtrack like Dante did in DMC4.

yea, well i think id have to find out how much the DLC would be before considering buying it and yea i can agree the whole back track thing from 4 was idiotic and 3 special edition was a little sad for vergils suposed (story)
