Description
Vir Cupid, the Deva of Stardust. He constantly makes the stars dance!Vir Cupid is one of the main protagonists of my manga Sacrifice. In terms of power he rivals that of Diamond, the strongest of the devas.
Vir can be considered to be serious, calm and to have a clear mind even in dangerous situations. He rarely acts on impulse, thinks before he acts and always tries to stay one step ahead displaying his skills as a good strategist and tactician. Vir is friendly and also very loyal to people, especially toward his close friends and Sunny. He is very hesitant to put either of them in harm's way as he cares for them deeply. He is gentle when it comes to others and is willing to help those in need. Vir is encouraging, but also realistic and will let a person know if a goal is too impossible; however, Vir can be hypocritical at times.

I like the sincere puppy expression he has going on. The background is real good it fits him so well. Kind of mesmerizing in a way. lol interesting heart shaped buckle on his belt.

I wanted him to look friendly and welcoming, so I guess I did a good job. I hate backgrounds so much, but this was fun and simple to do. Sometimes a little can go a long way xD
Hahaha yes, I had to make his buckle that way. I wanted his clothing to represent aspects of his character, so the buckle is for name; since Vir is Latin for Lover or Husband, and of course his last name Cupid. Plus it shows something else that happens in the manga.

I see you really put some thought into his name and using latin, a very good language to look for when it comes to names, I was curious about his name but you answered my question.

Yeah sometimes simple is good.
I love it when a character's name has meaning and fits with the story or character themselves; like a physical trait or personality trait. There are times a character's name can tell a role they play *hint hint* XD So I put thought into all of my characters' names. Yeah, I used all types of languages for naming my characters. Haha glad I answered your question.

all he's missing is a scarf and he'll look just like Natsu Dragneel XD Β Very nice work. In pop culture you'll hear a lot about Ashuras but not so much about Devas unless a sub translates Shitenoh or Four Heavenly Kings as Four Devas

Really? I had zero intention of making him look like Natsu xD I had used Vir's original concept art I made already and just revamped him. You can't really see his purple highlight tips at the end of his hair, so I have to fix that haha
