Description Hades and Osiris are the gods of the underworld in their own cultures. In his picture, Hades is shown wearing a crown of bones and crushing spirits in his hands, indicating power over the dead. Osiris judges the weight of souls on the scale, drawn behind him. He dominates the fates of the Egyptian people, and the scissor and string behind Hades is connected to the scale in the way that they both decide the fates of humans.

thanks. yeah it's for my classical mythology class. this was supposed to be our final project, which i procrastinated majorly on. hence, the crappy coloring.

nice job on this - only critisizms I have is that you should make little droplett things coming off the spirit [like 'tis desinigrating or something?] and make the string snapped. ^.~ well done though - I love the gray shadow effect. :]

thanks. yeah, i colored this at 3:30 a.m. or something and i didn't really want to do anything else with it. yes, i'm a big procrastinator. not really but this was my biggest procrastination ever.

thanks. i spent a lot more time on this one, especially with the concept. i needed something for it to stand out. i like hades a lot and the whole god-of-the-underworld appeals to me.
