Blinding deafening numbingTearing slashing ripping
Pounding punching screaming
A raven-haired girl screaming my name
With tears running down her face
As she pleads me to listen, to understand
A blonde ruffling my hair
She whispers in the ear
Asking me to remember her stories
A redhead dragging me along the street
She wants me to rebel
To forget to care
Colours blur as she cries
The world twists as she whispers
Sounds echo as she drags me along
My three loves, hiding in their sanctuary
A meter beyond the horizon
Where they rest
And yet they are never there
They walk past me on the street
And send a fleeting smile
