Just a sketch. It is my new character, Lane Mauritius, a Dodo Bird Kemonomimi.

Name: Lane Mauritius

Age: 18

Race: Kemonomimi (Dodo Bird)

Personality: Lane is very relaxed, care-free, and frank. He is the type of person that anyone can get along with, and has a certain quality about him that draws people to him. He is a bit eccentric, and he knows that he sometimes has a strange way of communicating his thoughts, but it doesn't deter him in any way. He sees his arm-less condition as not a hindrance, but a part of who he is. In his mind, you can't miss something you never had in the first place. As such, he would prefer to go without prosthetic limbs. Lane is quite adept with his feet anyway. Lane comes from a wealthy family, but he is one of the most humble people you could ever meet.

Likes: Thinking, reading, writing, running, simple things, thought provoking things, and appreciating people. He also likes being taken care of.

Dislikes: Being pitied

History: Lane and his family come from a small island off the coast of South Africa, where his family lived for generations and generations. Originally a French colony, until the English took over, Lane is fluent in French and English. He also has a slight French/English accent. He was born without arms, and as such has learned to adapt to life using primarily his feet for everything.

Due to the nature of the waning population of Dodo birds, Lane always felt pressed to help carry on his lineage. He is one of the last of a dying breed, Lane was always taught, and he should always be proud of who he is regardless of his disabilities. Lane came to Wonderland Academy in search of a way to better himself, and to be of use. His greatest fear is to be useless, and he strives to find a purpose in life other than just existing to be babied. He greatly despises being pitied.

Misc.:
-He is usually a calm mannered boy, but when a certain threshold of patience is crossed, he is surprisingly aggressive.
-He is often mistaken for a girl, but he doesn't really care either way what people perceive him as.
-He nearly always has his eyes closed in thought. It's said that when he does open them, there is such an alluring quality about them that he could charm anything and anyone.
-He is also a fantastic runner.
