Description

Off of the coast of the Forest is a small tribe of animals called the Capybaeryn. Capybaeryn are all similar looking, with slight coat variations of more dark brown or the more common copper. They are shorter compared to most Primordian species, the older capys being the largest.

Capybaeryn live underground in a communal tunnel, as well as share a village above ground. They are highly inactive, preferring to sleep and stand around all day, or engaging in low effort activities such as fishing, crafting and cooking. Capybaeryn however believe themselves to be much more than that, and while outwardly to any other Primordians the Capybaeryn are very emotionless, lazy, and dull creatures- the Capybaeryn believe themselves to be extremely emotional, excitable, loud and active animals.

Mainly subsisting off of fish, Capybaeryn also plant and gather berries. Who does what activity is decided when the Capybaeryn becomes an adult, and they wear an object on their head to represent themselves. This object is usually dull in color, as bright colors are considered illegal within Capybaeryn circles.

The leader of the Capybaeryn's is the Chief, who is chosen by laziness. The most tired and lazy Capy is usually considered wise and made into the leader. The Chief has guards who protect him, but Capybaeryn do not engage in combat, preferring instead to flee or play dead at the sight of danger.
