I sometimes will retrace a colorless drawing in order to give it some color. And when I sometimes give them backgrounds. This is one of those cases, but I like the background by itself, so I'm putting on DeviantArt. For those who don't know, it is my interpretation of the Dark Mechanicus symbol from the miniature wargame, Warhammer 40,000. It is basically a chaosified version of the Adeptus Mechanicus Symbol, a prominent faction who is part of the Imperium of Man. But unlike the regular Mechanicus, the Dark Mechanicus worship the Chaos gods (the bad guys of all of Warhammer).
