it can be confusing XD;; 
but as long as ur design can shows the mods that they still look like pokemon, it should be ok (IMO)

yeah i just dont get what is and is not allowed now... shay said if they can see the character in the design it wont be allowed but at the same time i've seen many people asking if their design would be acceptable and the mods said it was ok even if i was able to tell what it's based on immediately without even watching/ playing the series the character is from...

also in my opinion my baby right here look a lot like a royal ludroth (or at least im pretty sure most people who played MH3 would recognize what it's based on(at least after it's evolved)) but shay said it looked nothing like it O.o she even said they used completely different shades of green despite the fact that i used the color picker to get the color and then used them on my baby I'D

i just dont get this whole rule... the journal first states  that character based pokemon are banned comepletly, then the explanation text said using a characters colors is fine, then it suddenly says subtle inspiration is ok then shay says that it's only allowed if they can't tell what character the pokemon is based on but then her and the mods approve of designs were it's absolutely obvious what they're based on!!

btw would it be ok for you if i sent a link to the design of his evolved form that you did for me ? i would like to get that approved so i dont run into any problem when i want to evolve him...

the explanation can be confusing, even i AM confused, TBH

but IMO, i think those that are (especially) inspired from easily copied charas (like MLP) will get a much stricter checking, but otherwise, as long as the pokemon(s) are clearly shown as which n which in the design should serves one no problem ^^ 

maybe avoid leaving comments such as "inspired from ____" in the comment; just let it blank, just silently leave it to people who knows it, know what it is, without leaving a hint; that way it wont leave unnecessary drama, cause some members are....... excellent, at driving a drama up in the group (means, more problems for us mods)
& dont do a design a cross thats being too human in the future, that also get a very strict checking; someone designed a ralts-line cross that totally does NOT look like pokemon but like a human with boobs, if u hvnt guess, which probably was the very reason why the new rules was put out in the 1st place

& yes, feel free to send in the link, i dont mind at all ^^ (do u still hv it? since i already remove them from my stash; if u needs it i will re-upload it back to stash)

yeah because one point shay mentioned was that my ludroth baby didn't have enough detail, so i guess pokemon based on simple characters have a much higher chance of looking like a copy o:

and you really had cases where the members started drama because of that ? >< that does sound really annoying if it happens multiple times ID i generaly just mind my own business, the only time when i would contact a mod would be in severe cases like art theaft or harassment o.o

but i think mentioning what a pokemon is based on shouldn't be too big of a probelm with the mods themselves since shay already knew what my ludroth baby was based on as well XD

also i personally prefer designs that look less human, so i dont think that will happen to me^^ but that's a good thing to mention, especially with the boobs ID the most i would do would be a little curve in the lineart to make the body look more feminine, but most of the time i avoid it completely~
funny thing is that im thinking about breeding a Guardevoir/ Jynx cross for my series of pokemon based on the zodiac signs^^
i hope that's still fine since they dont really have any set designs and im mostly just trying to base them on the concept... for example the water fusion noibat i got from you is Aquarius x3

i still going to recommend dropping the"inspired from ___" in the comment TBH XD;;;

i used to mind my own  business too, before becoming a mod, so when there was a news update about certain stuffs i used to be clueless; but now? some members hv higher alert when it comes to attitudes (wont lie that we sometimes toss the said member's "nagging" to one another since most of us prefer not to take care of their whining - or when they flame up an unnecessary topic that will cause drama among other members xD;;; )

jynx (or jynx cross) are allowed to hv boobs, but it still needs to be the size of what jynx hv in canon, n not doubling (or tripling) the size XDDDD

and that probably means im on the list of maybe-soon-to-be-banned-members I'D

and yes i know :3 i wouldn't find that appealing anyways^^ it's kinda sad we needed a rule for this, but at the same time im not that surprised considering the status of certain pokemon like Guardevoir or Lopunny within I'D
